Peter Molyneux Rage Quits

Gaming Industry veteran responsible for the Fable franchise on Xbox, refuses to speak about his latest game Godus to the press following relentless criticism of the inflated embellishment he gives his games.

Fans have been mocking Molyneux’s false promises in his games and accuse him as a compulsive liar. Speaking to the Guardian Molyneux addresses these claims, he says:

“I say these ideas so passionately, people think that these are hard and fast promises. I truly believe them when I say them, but as you know, sometimes they don’t come to pass. They don’t come to pass because they’re too technically difficult, they don’t come to pass because maybe they don’t fit and people see this as being a promise.”

 Molyneux also reveals the abuse he has received as a contributing factor for his withdrawal to promoting Godus;

“People get so frustrated with me, so much so that they’ve threatened me, they’ve threatened my family and it just cannot go on, it really can’t”

This announcement comes during the development of Molyneux’s latest game Godus, which was crowd funded by generous donations on kickstarter.

Godus is a God game where you control many characters through a birdseye perspective and influence there world. A genre in which Molyneux effectively created through Populous, which sold over 4 million copies.

Godus is still in production but has now been handed over to Konrad Naszynski, a passionate fan of Molyneux’s.
